Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 8, 2026

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how Maytech Services ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the AutoSMS platform, which consists of the AutoSMS Gateway mobile application for Android and the AutoSMS web dashboard available at autosms.maytech-services.com.

AutoSMS lets you schedule and send SMS messages from your web dashboard using your own Android phone as an SMS gateway. You remain in control: messages are sent through your device, from your own SIM card.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the information you provide and the minimal data needed to operate the service:

  • Account information. When you create an account we collect your name and email address, and a password stored only in a securely hashed form. We never store plain-text passwords.
  • Contacts and recipient data. The names, phone numbers, and optional email addresses you enter or import into your dashboard for the purpose of sending messages.
  • Message content. The text of the messages you schedule, the recipient phone numbers, the SIM slot used, and delivery status with timestamps.
  • Device information. The device name you assign to each linked phone, its SIM slot, and its last check-in time so we can show whether a gateway is online.
  • Billing information. Credit and subscription balances and payment history. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (Chargily); we do not see or store your payment card details.

3. SMS Permissions and On-Device Processing

The Android app requires certain permissions so it can act as an SMS gateway. These are used only for the purpose described below:

  • Send SMS: to send the scheduled messages you created in the dashboard through your own SIM card.
  • Read phone state: to identify the SIM slots on your device so each message is sent from the SIM you selected.
  • Foreground service and battery optimization exemption: to keep the gateway running reliably in the background, including after a device restart.
  • Notifications: to show the persistent status notification that indicates the gateway is running.

All SMS sending happens on your device. Only the messages you schedule, the recipient numbers, and delivery status are transmitted between your device and our servers. We do not upload your message inbox, contacts list, or call history. The app does not request permission to read your incoming SMS, your contacts, your call log, or your location.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and maintain your account and verify your identity.
  • To schedule, deliver, and track the messages you create.
  • To show device online/offline status and delivery history in your dashboard.
  • To manage your credits, subscriptions, and payment records.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To protect the security of the service and prevent abuse or spam.

5. Where Your Information Is Stored

We host the service on Cloudflare infrastructure. Application data is stored in managed databases and key-value services (Cloudflare D1 and KV) located in Cloudflare's global data centers. Information is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

6. Cookies and Web Tracking

The AutoSMS web dashboard sets only essential cookies: a single session cookie that keeps you signed in to your dashboard. It is strictly required for the service and cannot be disabled without breaking authentication. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no web beacons or pixels, and no cross-site tracking are used anywhere on the platform.

Separately, your language preference is saved in your browser's local storage, and a transient value is kept in session storage while email verification is completed. Both are stored on your device and are not transmitted to us, except as part of your authenticated session.

The Android gateway app stores its authentication token and your selected device in the device's secure storage rather than on our servers. We do not perform any web analytics or cross-device tracking.

7. How We Share Information

  • Cloudflare: as our hosting and infrastructure provider, to store and deliver the service.
  • Chargily: as our payment processor, only the data required to complete your payment transaction. Chargily, not us, handles the payment credentials.
  • Legal requirements: if we are required to do so by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the service.

We do not otherwise share, sell, or rent your information to third parties, and there is no advertising on the platform.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for the period needed to provide the service, support you, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Message history is retained so you can view past sends and analytics in your dashboard.

You can request deletion of your account and your data at any time by contacting us through our contact page. We will delete your personal data and message records within a reasonable time, unless we are required by law to keep certain records.

9. Opt-Out and Your Recipients' Choices

Recipients of your messages may reply with an opt-out keyword (for example "STOP", "إلغاء", or "arret") to indicate they no longer wish to receive messages. The app detects these replies and records the opt-out so you can manage them, in line with applicable marketing laws.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information: passwords are stored hashed, authentication uses secure bearer tokens stored in your device's secure storage, and traffic between the app, the dashboard, and our servers is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children's Privacy

The service is not directed at children under 13, the standard minimum age floor for children's data protection. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

13. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or about how your data is handled, contact us through our contact page.
